Cognitive Resilience Training for Restaurant Professionals
Providing self-care tools for individuals working in the restaurant industry
Custom Designed Curriculum
CLC programs are customed designed to fit the need of every client. Each class incorporates a lesson in neuroscience, kinesthetic movement, and cognitive behavioral exercises. We provide individuals with tools to address stress associated with the restaurant industry such as work overload (and under load), harnessing new technology challenges, meeting customer expectations (food allergies/special requests/unrealistic timeframe), compromises due to wrong or incomplete food/supply/equipment deliveries, under compensation/appreciation from customers, and communication trials with customers and coworkers.
Our curriculum walks trainees through our three-step structure – Science, Exercise for the Brain, and Extension of Self (SEE) – where they learn to cope with stress through better communication skills, improved sleep habits, managing addictive behaviors, and better impulse-control.
CLC Courses Are Built From the Following Subjects
Pre & post evaluations are included with every CLC program. When possible, quantitative measures will be taken for data analysis contributing to ongoing research in the field of neuroscience.
Research shows working in the restaurant business to be one of the most stressful occupations. We know that stress leads to a myriad of negative effects on our health and wellness, as well as addictive behaviors. This workshop gives individuals evidence-based skills and knowledge to manage common challenges many restaurant professionals face.
