Stress Management Training (SMT) for Professionals in the Construction Industry
Helping construction management promote a healthy workplace culture
Research shows early detection of stress recognition in construction workers, contribute to improving workers' safety, health, wellbeing, and productivity. CLC Stress Management Training (SMT) pulls from evidence-based models to help individuals identify occupational stress and its effects of on health and on the job safety. Trainees will learn tools to build resilience and a lifetime of practices to manage stress in their professional and personal lives.
Custom Designed Curriculum
CLC programs are costumed designed to fit the need of every client. Each class incorporates a lesson in neuroscience, kinesthetic movement, and cognitive behavioral exercises. We provide individuals with tools to address taxing issues associated with the construction industry such as work overload (and underload), deadline pressures, role stressors, underutilization of abilities, communication trials and physical discomfort. Our curriculum walks trainees through our three-step structure – Science, Exercise for the Brain and Extension of Self (SEE) – where they learn better impulse control, increased communication skills, healthier habits, improved sleep, and less stress.

Cognitive Resilience Training for Workplace Trauma

Providing self-care tools for individuals exposed to occupational stress and trauma
CLC’s Cognitive Resilience Training (CRT) helps professionals exposed to workplace trauma with challenges such as burnout, compassion fatigue, disassociation, and despair to help individuals identify and address the symptoms and how to address them to have a healthy work-life balance.
CRT teaches employers strategies to create safe and healthy workplaces that support the success of employees with lived experiences of trauma, incarceration, and recovery from Substance Use Disorder (SUD). By equipping employers with tools to better understand trauma and PTSD, compassion to reduce stigma, and building resilience in the workplace, employers can foster a more balanced work environment where employee well-being and organizational growth can thrive.

Classroom Trainings
In these two 2-hour live virtual courses, individuals will learn tools, skills, and information to be more resilient with challenges such as burnout, compassion fatigue, dissociation, and despair. Trainees will be presented with evidence-based models to help them understand the science of stress and the body, identify the symptoms of trauma and PTSD, and resources to manage trauma. The training equips trainees with the tools to build more effective communication skills that foster compassion, inclusivity, and efficiency in the workplace. Participants will gain strategies for healthier conflict resolution, creating stronger teams and more supportive work environments. Most importantly, the training emphasizes personal mindfulness practices that promote overall well-being, helping individuals achieve a healthier work-life balance for themselves and their families. This holistic approach strengthens both professional and personal growth, leading to more resilient and productive workplaces.
